Curtin Robotics Club × Red Bull Basement Hackathon Curtin Robotics Club is teaming up with Red Bull Basement to host a one-day, high-energy hackathon on campus — where bold ideas meet real-world impact. Open to all Western Australian university students, this hackathon invites participants to form teams of 1–2 people and develop an innovative solution to a global challenge. Throughout the day, teams will work towards creating a startup-style pitch, which will be submitted directly to Red Bull Basement. If selected, teams will be flown to compete in the national final, with the ultimate prize on the line: a trip to Silicon Valley and $100,000 in funding to further develop their idea. The hackathon will be structured into three focused streams: Engineering Software Business Resources will be provided to support teams throughout the day, and lunch will be provided to keep everyone fuelled and focused. Design and build a robot to navigate obstacles and solve problems in an escape room like course.
